John Steven Wood

John Steven Wood, 62, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.  A time of visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday, December 29th, 2025, at Linn’s Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa.  A service of Remembrance will follow the visitation Monday evening. John Steven Wood was born August 31,1963, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Kenneth Ross Wood and Charlene Kay (Flemming) Wood.  He attended Iowa Falls High School and Ellsworth College-earning an AA degree in Human Services.  He was in the farm industry.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taught his grandkids how to drive.  He made  delicious pecan pie and caramels. He was the life of the party. 

John Wood is survived by this father: Kenneth Wood of Iowa Falls;  children:  Stephanie of Gilbert, Arizona; Ryan, Blayze, Ryker, Starr, and Gramm all of Iowa Falls;  grandchildren:  Roc’lynn, Layla, Drayden, Bria, Donovan, Elle, and Letty;  two brothers: Paul and Mike; a sister Julie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother: Charlene Wood.
